In the November meeting of the Commercial Air Transport (CAT) working group, the presentation by Rotor Technologies’ Vice President of Commercialization Andy Mearns discussed the heavy-lift vertical takeoff and landing UAV’s being developed by Rotor Technologies in Nashua, New Hampshire in the USA. Rotor is building "Big Drones for Tough Jobs” … unmanned helicopters that can do the “Dull, Dark, Dirty and Dangerous” work, while delivering significantly more payload than previously available commercial UAVs.
