This station's original call letters are WTIC.

* WGAN-TV Portland, Maine
Today, the station's call is WGME.

* WVIT-TV Hartford, Connecticut
WKNB, WNBC and WHNB are Channel 30's former call letters.

* WGGB-TV Springfield, Massachusetts - 40th anniversary
Channel 40 originally signed on the air as WHYN.

* WCVB-TV Boston, Massachusetts - 10th anniversary
WCVB's on-air history began in March 1972 when it succeeded WHDH as the licensee of Boston's channel 5.
