Shows 2 techniques how to send a signal down without the use of redstone staircases etc. The first one takes advantage of items dispensed by a dispenser, which lands on a wooden pressure plates, and the second one a boat on pressure plates which is on or of depending if theres any water.

Dispenser method Pros and Cons:
+ Quite fast
+ Transmission pipe only 1x1 unit
- 5 Minute cooldown (and 5 minute on time)
- Needs to sacrifise some type of item.

When this method could be useful: When you need to activate something which you rarely activate which is far beneath the ground, perhaps where there is little room for a redstone curcuit staircase. Might be an idea to hook up 2 of these to a memory cell so you can shut it off as well.

Water+Boat method Pros and Cons:
+No need to sacrifise anything
+No cooldowns
+Transmission pipe only 2x1 o 1x1 unit
-Takes a long time to shut off (except if you use a one block water stream)

When this method could be useful: When the 5 minute cooldown of the other method is a problem and you active/deactivate this often. Also good when there's little room for vertical transmissions with redstone staircases.
