Many of you have been asking how are animals are doing, so here is another sneak peek behind the scenes, where our experts are caring for them.

Here you can see Aquarist Seb feeding Sensa, one of our Loggerhead sea turtles in the Endless Ocean exhibit. She enjoying a diet of whiting, mackerel, squid and shrimp today

Sensa and Mabouche are trained to come into their feeding area when the coloured pole is placed in the water. The ensures we can monitor the amount they have eaten and carry out essential health and well being checks.

As you can imagine, running an aquarium and providing animal care doesn't come cheap, but is essential. So we are asking our loyal customers, like you, to consider making a small donation to support us. Any amount would be gratefully received and would make a real difference. If you can, please follow this link thedeep.co.uk/conservation/support-us, and click on the donate button. Thank you!
