This white banded sea urchin in the Living Coral display is inflating and deflating to regulate its circulatory system. As with other echinoderms (like starfish), sea urchins do not have a brain and instead rely on their water-vascular system which comprises of water-filled channels that run through its body. You can see a wide collection of urchins, anemones, corals and beautiful tropical fish in this display just after the Lagoon of Light.
