Full reaction to Turok: Origins trailer from Gamescom Opening Night Live. I grew up on the N64 original and haven't kept up with the series since, but this reboot looks phenomenal. Saber Interactive and Universal are treating this like a full triple-A experience—the graphics are clean, the dinosaur designs are brutal, the combat mechanics look tight. First-person AND third-person action, the new chain weapon mechanic, exploring the Lost Lands against the Xenia alien threat. Some people who got hands-on time have complained, but from the trailer alone, this looks legitimately good. I'm hopeful this lands well because the foundation is clearly there. Spring 2027 🎮
