Marvel's Wolverine Comic-Con 2026 story trailer reaction and review. Insomniac just showed us so much at San Diego Comic-Con. Logan reunites with Team X for a globe-trotting mission to rescue kidnapped mutants, while facing antagonists like Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike, and his former allies turned enemies. The trailer showcases Sentinels that look absolutely insane, Omega Red as a serious threat, and Sabretooth as a reluctant ally who's also clearly gonna be a boss fight later. The action is brutal, the R-rating is being used perfectly, and Insomniac is pulling from classic Wolverine lore while making it feel fresh. Jean Grey's got his back, but the emotional weight is there. So much character variety, so much to unpack. The amount of content they showed us gives me full confidence this game is gonna hit different. September 15 can't come fast enough 🔥

The variety they showed in this trailer is insane. We got Sentinels blowing things up, Omega Red looking like a serious threat, Sabretooth as this uneasy ally that's definitely gonna be a boss later, Lady Deathstrike with that glowing sword, and Jean Grey holding it down with Logan. They're building this as a mutant survival story where Logan has to protect his kind and it feels epic. Insomniac is using the R-rating for the brutality and emotional weight.
