In today’s project, we’re heading back into the woodland world because I stumbled across a sleepy little hedgehog in the forest… and of course I had to bring him home. Meet Herbert, the tiny needle felted hedgehog who now lives on the back of my Forest Witch Hat.
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how I shaped Herbert’s clay features, built his tiny wire frame, and brought his wooly body to life, quills and all. It’s a simple process with a magical payoff, perfect for anyone who wants to craft a woodland companion of their own.
Thank you for stopping by the Mythical Makers Workshop. I hope Herbert inspires you to create a mythical creature of your own!
