In this video, I'll be showing you a cool new app called "Fingerprint to Sleep" that lets you turn off your screen by touching your fingerprint scanner.
You don't need root to try this out, though being rooted will help a little. Simply install this app, adjust the options, and you'll be able to put your phone to sleep by touching the fingerprint scanner.

In this video, Ill be showing you how to the new boot animation from Googles Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones.
Its a pretty cool animation with a white background, unlike most. Four colored dots bounce around while its loading, then eventually morph into the Google G logo. This should work on any rooted device that has a bootanimation.zip file in its /system/media folder.

In this video, Ill be showing you a relatively unknown feature from Marshmallow TouchWiz on Samsungs latest flagship devices. This should work on the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, and Note 5, but only if youre running Android 6.0 or higher.
This Adapt Sound feature basically performs a hearing test on you, then uses that data to create your own personalized sound profile that will be applied system-wide. The end result is some of the best sound quality Ive ever heard on a mobile device, so its definitely worth checking out.

In this video, Ill be showing you how to set up an app called Monochrome, which automatically enables a GPU-level grayscale mode when your battery is low.
Grayscale (or black and white) can be a great battery saver for devices with AMOLED screens. This app automatically enables the feature when your systems Battery Low warning message pops up, so you can squeeze an extra bit of juice out of your device.
Root is not required, but it makes things easier. However, if youre not rooted, youll need to run a single ADB command, which you can find at the full tutorial.

You can have different wallpapers for every day of the week, or month of the year. You can set it to change when you connect to a different Wi-Fi network, or even switch your wallpaper when the weather changes. Another great option here is the Time of Day feature—this one lets you set a light background during the daytime, then switch to a dark one at night.
