I was so honored to work on this video project with the iconic Ozzy over 30 years ago! It was awesome to work on this “Turn Up The Volume” video! This was a video project that feature new and up coming bands during the “Hair Metal” movement in the late 1980’s. For me as the only NON guitarist on the scene playing my double neck violin along side of Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen, Dimebag Darrell, Steve Vai, and many others! What a trip that was! I actually performed at the Randy Rhoads tribute concert right after he died. My band performed “Mr Crowley” in front of his Mom and family along with all the virtuoso guitar players of the day were in the audience. I’ll never forget while playing the Randy Rhoads solo in that tune, as I was performing it, the crowd erupted into load cheers and applause, so loud that I paused for a second in surprise then finished that great Randy solo! Here is my tribute to Ozzy and Randy Rhoads RIP. 2 giants in the music world! We will miss them….
