Fresh drinking water is vital to survival. In this survival skills video we'll take a look at how to turn seawater into fresh drinking water using just a few items you can likely find in the forest or washed up on the beach. How to get fresh water from salt water was one of the main questions I received on my past primitive water filter series so we'll address that today. We'll set up two semi primitive water distillers, run them for an hour each and see what kind of results we get. These two distillers use fire to boil water and create steam. I've found this to be vastly more productive than using passive solar distillation, at least with the common items you might find while beach combing.
