This video focuses on how to manipulate the turn order for Phase 2 when fighting against Simon, the Divergent Star. If you'd like me to do a breakdown of this video, let me know in the comments below.

*BATTLE STRATEGY:*
Set your turn order to Verso and Maelle for Phase 1. To do so, remove everyone from your party except Verso and then add Maelle. For same results, make sure you have the exact same Pictos and Lumina as in the video and nothing else equipped. This is done on NG+5 and speed is not a factor here at all.
PHASE 1:
Simon's Turn: Parry or Dodge all his attacks. It doesn't matter what you do. Simon will always go first and you need to avoid his attacks. Change to Story difficulty if you're having difficulty in parrying or dodging - this increases the parry and dodge windows.
Turn 1 Verso: Shoot until no AP is left. Then do a Base Attack. This is to increase Burns and max out the Gradient Bar as much as possible while applying Greater Defenceless.
Turn 2 Verso: Repeat the same as previous turn. The Gradient Bar should require one more hit to max.
Turn 1 Maelle: Use Swift Stride. This will also max the Gradient Bar.
Turn 2 Maelle: She will consume the Gradient Bar on this turn. Use Burning Canvas to one-shot Simon the Divergent Star.
Simon will steal Maelle's shields and remove Maelle and Verso from the Canvas. Send in your reserve team.
PHASE 2:
If you follow the build at the end of the video, Lune and Monoco will always go before Sciel due to Auto Death + Survivor and Shortcut. In the video Lune goes first, however, if Monoco goes before Lune, just make sure not to fill the Gradient Bar too much. We do not want Lune to consume the Gradient Bar during here first two turns.
Turn 1 Lune: Use Elemental Trick to generate 4 stains.
Turn 2 Lune: Do a Base Attack to change all stains into Dark Stains.
Turn 1 Monoco: Shoot to increase the Gradient Bar as much as possible. Then do a Base Attack.
Turn 2 Monoco: Repeat the same as his first turn.
Turn 1 Sciel: Use Fortune's Fury on Lune.
Turn 2 Sciel: Use Intervention on Lune.
Turn 3 Lune: Consume the Gradient Bar and use Lightning Dance to one-shot Simon, the Divergent Star into oblivion!
