If you drag any Mac window to the left, it automatically fills that half of the screen. Same if you drag to the right, and if you drag upwards, then depending on the size of your monitor, it fills either the top half or the whole thing. It’s great, except when you’re trying to position a window near the top and it prangs out to fill your display. You can go to Settings, Desktop & Dock and turn off this window tiling — you can say you want it to happen only when you also choose to hold down the option key.
