A 50mW 405nm Violet LASER shot from the righthand side of a large optical calcite crystal rhomb notice slight violet colour from reflection of the beam, as it enters the transparent calcite crystal it causes fluorescence to occur with a deep red emission, as the beam exits the crystal again some reflection and it's true violet color can be seen.
