Create a rough cut from an edited transcript — directly inside Adobe Premiere.
In this tutorial, I show a workflow with Automation Agent where you start with a long interview transcript, copy only the lines you want to keep into a simple text file, and then let an AI agent assemble a new sequence from that script.
Automation Agent matches the selected text snippets back to the original source clip, creates a new sequence, inserts the corresponding parts of the interview, and adds helpful markers whenever something needs your attention — for example, when a line occurs more than once, when the text is only a near match, or when no matching source clip can be found.
This makes it possible to create a first rough cut by editing text instead of manually searching through a long interview in the timeline.
Automation Agent is currently in private beta.
