Here is a beautiful Turkish Saz Semâîsi by Tanburi Büyük Osman Bey.
A Saz Semâîsi is an instrumental form found in Turkish Ottoman Makam Music. It has several verses known as Hane, always ending up into a Teslim or main refrain.
Saz Semâîsi are some of the most beautiful and intriguing compositions in Turkish music. This one composed by Tanburi Büyük Osman Bey is a must know for all Turkish music lovers and students. In fact, I recorded because my Turkish Makam guitar students needed a the guitar version to listen to. So I made this quick video playing the piece for them.

This Saz Semâîsi (or many times written Saz Semaisi, or Saz Semai) is based on a Turkish Makam called RAST.
