"Hendrix Flamenco" is a composition based on Spanish Flamenco. Fernando Perez takes a style called Solea and blends it with the Jimi Hendrix guitar playing style.
The album World Music Power Trio was created thanks to the support of SGAE (Spain). The aim was to create a repertoire of World Music styles performed on electric modern instruments. In it the listener can discover the sounds of Chinese and Japanese traditional music, Spanish Flamenco, Rumanian grooves, Bulgarian Horos, Indian Ragas, Desert Blues, Kurdish spiritual sounds or even Turkish melodies in a fresh and modern creation.
Blending the traditional world music styles with Jazz improvisations and Rock sounds.
