Reading IDEAS. | Turgenev. Sketches from a Hunter's Album. The Greatest Page of Writing? @ReadingIDEAS.-uz9xk | Uploaded September 2023 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
My first time reading Turgenev and he was recommended to me by a reputable source, Ernest Hemingway in his book of short stories of his early years in 1920's Paris after World War 1, "A Moveable Feast."
Hemingway wanted to be great at writing country. Again from the same source, he wanted to write Country, like a Cezanne painted landscapes. He admired Turgenev's ability to describe country.
A book to thoroughly recommend.
