This is an excellent read for anyone interested in the development of rocket technology and the race for the exploration of space. Funded as a weapon of war and successfully launched during WW11. After the war the German scientists and engineers were scooped up by America and Russia and pressed into developing the rockets that would take the human race to space.
A fascinating read for the technical aspects of development but also for the time it was written, in World War Two German and all the main characters that were there.
