Zach and Emmy's romantic retreat aboard a hot-air balloon takes a terrifying turn when they get hijacked by a sinister third passenger with a link to Zach's past. As the mystery of their secret relationship is revealed, their spectacular ride becomes a brutal chess match and a lethal battle high in the sky.
Poster contributed to the film’s VFX production with work across visual effects supervision, compositing, FX, previs, VFX production and pipeline development. The VFX team helped transform the practical hot-air-balloon setup into the vast aerial environments of the Italian Dolomites, creating the scale, height and dangerous conditions required for the story.
The film relied heavily on blue-screen production and visual effects to extend the environment around the balloon and create the surrounding landscapes, skies and high-altitude sequences. Poster’s work included digital compositing and visual-effects integration, combining live-action photography with CG and digitally created elements to make the final shots feel seamless.
