In this tutorial video I'll show you how to Tunisian crochet an easy shell stitch for fast and easy handmade items.

Hi I'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. This Tunisian crochet easy shell stitch is a nice lightweight and airy stitch pattern that works great for items like scarves and shawls and delicate blankets.

You can use whatever yarn you wish. For my sample I'm using a medium worsted weight yarn along with a 10-inch size H 5 mm Tunisian crochet hook for my sample. Feel free to adjust the hook size to your liking. And with this type of crochet, Tunisian extended hooks are hooks with a long fishing wire type of thin tubing attached to the other end of it. This allows you to make larger items like bedspreads and blankets.
