After hearing about this alternative currency to the Mexican Peso, Tumin. I had to get on my motorcycle and drive from Austin Texas to Papantla Veracruz Mexico and find out what the real story was behind it.
Upon arrival in Papantla it took me about 15 minutes to get my hands on some Tumin and arrange a meeting with Juan Castro Tumin's creator. Not mentioned in the video Juan Castro lost his job as a Professor at the Universidad De Veracruzana as a result of the law suit by the Bank of Mexico.
In my meeting with Juan I discovered his desire to take Tumin digital and we are currently working on making that a reality.
Juan has agreed to speak at Anarchapulco 2023 in February and we hope to have the digital version available at Anarchapulco.
