I found that this specific seam in TTM has floor gaps along it. This allows us to climb it 0xA, which could potentially save a few seconds in ABC stars like Scale the Mountain (youtu.be/8fHgvh3IKig). This also allows us to fall straight through the geometry, similar to the floor gap at the start of CCM.
Update: It appears that this seam was known already by some and was used in a tas competition (youtu.be/pdX5rtYhBMU?t=2147). But I'll still leave up this video as documentation.
