Snufit Size Oversight 1ted59 2021-01-30 | This is a fairly well known thing with Snufits, due to it being so easy to perform. I did manage to find this on my own but I was not the first. I couldn't find any documentation on it though. Edit: this was used in the ABC TrialsThis one is fairly easy, if you leave a Snufit's radius while its charging up for its shots, it will freeze at whatever size that it was at when it was targeting Mario. If Mario reenters the radius the Snufit will continue firing from where it left off.I also show off that something jumps towards Mario in the metal cap room in the beginning lol, even though there are no enemies in that room. This is fairly consistent.I stumbled upon this when testing something else in this general area 👀Music is SM64 by Nintendo
King Bob-omb Slide Glitch 1ted59 2020-11-29 | This glitch was found by turara32767, and verified through decomp. To the best of my knowledge this has never been documented anywhere else other than the now deleted twitter post.This glitch only works on the original JP 1.0 release, which is only on N64.To do this glitch, simply activate King Bob-omb by getting close, fall out of the arena so that the fight ends, then reactivate him again. This is far more common in Rom hacks played on original console (the ABC trials is near impossible to complete because of this). On vanilla this can occur in PSS and in the CCM slide (thanks to Gib for the CCM tip)I believe the issue is that the level geometry is being pushed visually up higher than it should be for some reason unknown to me.To reproduce, have Mario sleep up on the top of the race start area while facing roughly the same direction I am, then press the R button a few times after Mario falls asleep.Music is SM64 by Nintendo.
