•3:40 zakkrooney: What effect does weight distribution on position of your foot have on your squat (high bar vs low bar)
•5:33 thepoweroflifting: What is the best way to organize training for an extended off season??? Is it worth (at some point) running a peaking block to do a mock meet type day, or should I stick to higher reps with some variation, etc... I'm having a hard time focusing my training with no meet in sight, but want to get bigger, stronger, more efficient, etc...
•9:55 zanbreznikar: So the primary factor for muscle growth is mechanical tension is what we know from dr. Schoenfelds work. But the key to hypertrophy is volume. So my question is 1. How exactly would you define mechanical tension (amount of work done? Is it the same as volume?) 2. What is the relation between these two therms and how do they impact one another? What I don't understand is, if the primary way a muscle grows in by constant increases in mechanical tension, why is a low volume high intensity powerlifting program fairly ineffective for optimising hypertrophy. Hope this makes some sense lol
•14:55 deadliftluu: What kind of positive performance can you still get at a meet despite not being able to do a proper peak/taper due to past injuries?
•18:18 thewolftitan: Occlusion training in powerlifting.. Beneficial or redundant?
•22:09 yarosquats: Thoughts on when it is appropriate to lower your training volume and situations you've had to do this for yourselves or clients.
•30:20 dqlift: Would trying to be more explosive on sumo either by doing speed pulls/conv deadlifts help with increasing speed off the ground and getting stronger at sumo due to the lockouts being easier?
•34:26 swimmertopowerlifter: How do you typically program a transition ion training blocks?
•41:21 thomasbugler: Do you guys think powerlifting 1) Should be an Olympic sport 2)Will ever be an Olympic sport 3)Would making it push/pull be more viewer friendly and marketable?
•50:05 hasbee0047: How much variation should one involve to get the most on 3 main lifts.
•1:01:20 instachadgram: If weight classes weren't a thing, and placing was decided solely by Wilks, how much weight do you think would be optimal to cut
•1:09:55 jaegernawt: Are tighter knee sleeves more of an advantage than normal fitting sleeves?
•1:11:22 zach_parr: Best literature to learn about programming for powerlifting?
•1:14:56 ryangriff666: Self belief in the platform, physiological strategies for improving confidence. How would you handle a lifter that has a confidence problem leading into a competition
•1:21:03 whateverittakesgoddamnit: Optimal height range for each weight class, drug free, end game?
