Biographer Michael Wolff alleges that aide Natalie Harp’s close proximity to President Donald Trump affected Melania Trump’s public schedule during the 2024 campaign, drawing attention to internal dynamics. In a Substack post cited by RadarOnline.com, Michael Wolff describes Natalie Harp as a “central presence” around Donald Trump and says Melania Trump avoided events when Harp was present. The Daily Beast reported Melania appeared in public 47 times in 2025 after the Jan. 20 inauguration and on 38 days in the first seven months of 2026. Wolff further claims Harp sought lodging near the president and left personal letters, while not alleging a sexual relationship. A White House spokesman disputed Wolff’s account.
