Under the label of Freedom of Religion, President Trump is poised to make it legit under cover of "religion" to accept donations to directly finance political campaigns and candidates - simultaneously shielding the identity of the donors and allowing the donors to deduct the contribution from their taxes - since the donation was washed through a tax-exempt religious institution!
Trump lays it out, the exemption begins with a meeting held with the Mega Church Prosperity Gospel Preachers. But has generated plenty of wealth especially for the preachers and promoters? So much so that it drew the attention of the United States Senate which launched an inquiry into the tax-exempt status of religious organizations. But before you take off on that link, watch to see Trump promising to end a ban on the use of taxpayer money to pay for political speech, but why stop there, some of these preachers can sell enough God to live like entertainers, and they can do that NOW subsidized by taxpayers!
And Trump markets his high-end Luxury products to them. And it would be easy for him as president to advocate creating more very wealthy people is good for the United States economy as well.
But are believers getting their money's worth? Should we demand, like Obama Care did, when it told insurance companies to spend more on helping people you insured and less on payouts to executives and stockholders? So shouldn't spiritual leaders spend more time being spiritual and less on Material things, and if they want a top of the line luxury lifestyle, they should pay for it themselves!
