While speaking to reporters in the Oval Office Monday, Trump said that he is "really disappointed" in U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro after she moved to dismiss the vandalism charges against David Hearn and others accused of peeling the new coating off the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.

The Department of the Interior said this weekend that there was evidence that the pool was damaged in places the vandals could not have reached.

Trump's Reflecting Pool renovations have seen a series of setbacks over the past few months, with the project now estimated to cost $15 million.
