The day after President Donald Trump’s inauguration, he attended the National Prayer Service at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. Accompanied with his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and his wife Second Lady Usha Vance. Also, with members of their families.
During the homily, female Episcopal Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde spoke. She wore a cosplay Bishop’s costume. Her talk was meant to embarrass President Trump. She failed, only to bring shame on her and the church that elevated her to that position.
Perhaps she should adhere to the part of the Christian Bible, in Deuteronomy 22:5, which reads:
“A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God.”
