Paul Watson of the comical Captain Paul Watson Foundation, is now a free person. The Denmark Ministry of Justice on December 17, 2024, refused to extradite him to Japan. That means no Christmas present of an extradited Paul Watson for the people of Japan. In addition, the French paramour will not be making multiple flights between France and Japan.
Watson and the paramour expressed thanks to all their supporters for his release. Really? Five months of luxurious incarceration causing him to hallucinate? The suckers, minions, disposables, and emotional wrecks had nothing to do with his release. In was the behavior of the Japanese officials response for coordinating with the Ministry of Justice in Denmark.

“The Danish Justice Ministry said in a statement that the conditions for extradition were met, but it had not received adequate guarantees from Japanese authorities that the time Watson had already served in custody would be counted against any sentence he would receive in Japan.”
Paul Watson was not going to spend years in a Japanese jail. Most likely three or four months. If Japan agreed to give him credit for time served in Greenland, that would mean no time to serve in Japan. So, big deal. By not agreeing to back out the time, Japan lost the opportunity to have Watson face charges in a Japanese courtroom. It also gives Watson bragging material. He brags he stopped Japanese whaling. Now he can brag he defeated the Japanese government.
Watson’s rust-bucket, garbage scow, the M/Y John Paul DeJoria is still in Bermuda with the mutineers. Paul Watson upon his release said he will return to France to be with his children in a few days. Note, he did not mention his wife. Also why does it take a “few days” to travel from Greenland to France?
Someone please send the Japanese officials who did not agree to Denmark’s request, President Trump’s book, “Trump, the Art of the Deal.”
