Check out where the TrueForm Trainer ranks among the best manual treadmills: treadmillreviewguru.com/best-manual-treadmills

The TrueForm Trainer is a manual treadmill so it doesn’t require electricity to use. Instead of having a motor, the belt is controlled by your legs. You set the pace, rather than having to keep up with it. Manual treadmills are excellent for running, especially at high speeds because the belt will move as fast as you do. There isn’t a maximum top speed.

Overall, we recommend the TrueForm Trainer for runners, athletes, and individuals who want a hearty, non-motorized treadmill for running. The shallow curve to the deck is specifically designed to help improve your running form and encourage a midfoot strike. If you want a treadmill that helps excel your running so you’re less prone to injuries, this is one to check out.

The Trainer has a steel inner frame and molded plastic outer frame. It’s durable and appropriate for home use. The TrueForm Runner, which is the step up from this model, is built for commercial use and has been used in competitions. The Trainer is lighter and more affordable, making it more appealing for most fitness enthusiasts working out in their homes.

The belt consists of rubber slats that absorb the impact that comes with running. This helps prevent discomfort in your legs that can happen with running on firmer surfaces like concrete. The motion of the belt and your feet hitting the deck is heard when the TrueForm Trainer is in use. It does make noise, but it’s not excessive compared to other manual treadmills.

We noticed that the belt is harder to get moving than other manual treadmills like the AssaultRunner Elite. The Assault has a heavier belt and higher curve to the deck, so the belt moves more easily.

The console is where the Trainer could use an upgrade. It doesn’t track as many metrics as others, like calories, and it has less functionality. It is battery-powered however and doesn’t require electricity to use.

All in all, if you’re looking for a hearty, non-motorized treadmill that can handle a lot of running, this is the one to check out. We highly recommend it for runners, athletes, and individuals who want to improve their running form.
