True freedom in a relationship means you can say what you need to say, do what you need to do, and be exactly who you are—and still know you’re safe and loved.

That’s what it means to be in a healthy, Christ-centered marriage.

If you feel like you’re walking on eggshells, like you have to shrink or filter yourself to avoid conflict, then something is off.

Think about your closest friend, the one you could be fully yourself around. Were they using control tactics? Of course not. That’s why it felt safe.

A good relationship should feel like that. Every time.
