Timmy Uppet's friend, Trouble, had been having a great day at the park. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and there were kids everywhere playing. Trouble was running around, laughing and having fun, when he saw something that made him stop in his tracks.
A bigger kid was picking on a little boy. The bigger kid was shoving the little boy around and calling him names. The little boy looked scared and was starting to cry.
Trouble knew he had to do something. He walked up to the bigger kid and said, "Hey, stop picking on that kid! It's way cooler to be kind."
The bigger kid looked at Trouble like he was crazy. "Why should I be kind to him?" he asked.
"Because it's the right thing to do," Trouble said. "And besides, it's more fun to be friends with people than to pick on them."
The bigger kid thought about this for a moment. Then, he shrugged and said, "Okay, I'll stop."
He turned to the little boy and said, "Sorry for picking on you. I didn't mean to make you cry."
The little boy looked at the bigger kid with big, surprised eyes. Then, he smiled and said, "It's okay. I forgive you."
The two boys started playing together, and Trouble watched them from a distance. He felt good about himself for standing up to the bully and for helping the little boy.
Later, Trouble was telling Timmy about what happened at the park.
"I'm so glad I stood up to that bully," Trouble said. "It felt really good to know that I was doing the right thing."
Timmy nodded in agreement. "It's always the right thing to be kind," he said. "And it's always more fun to be friends with people than to pick on them."
Puppy Dog, who had been listening to the conversation, barked in agreement.
"Kindness is cool," he said.
And so, the three friends continued to play at the park, enjoying the rest of their day. They knew that they had made a difference in the world, and that was all that mattered. #kindnessiscool #timmystory #timmyuppet
