Grandpa Uppet, Timmy, and Sara were on a safari in Africa. They were driving through the savanna when they saw an elephant. The elephant was huge! It was about 13 feet tall and weighed about 6 tons. Grandpa Uppet was so excited to see the elephant that he spelled the word out loud.

"E-L-E-P-H-A-N-T," he said. "That's an elephant!"

Timmy and Sara were impressed. They had never seen an elephant before either.

"Can you make an elephant sound?" Timmy asked.

Grandpa Uppet tried. He took a deep breath and blew out as hard as he could.

"Phwooo!" he said.

It wasn't a very good elephant sound, but Timmy and Sara laughed anyway.

"That was close," Timmy said. "You just need to practice."

Grandpa Uppet smiled. "I'll keep practicing," he said. "I want to be able to make a real elephant sound the next time we see one."

The safari continued, and Grandpa Uppet, Timmy, and Sara saw many more animals. They saw lions, giraffes, zebras, and many more. They had a great time, and they learned a lot about the animals of Africa.

At the end of the day, Grandpa Uppet was still practicing his elephant sound. He was getting better, but he still wasn't quite there yet.

"I'll get it eventually," he said. "I just need to keep practicing."

And he did. He practiced every day, and eventually, he was able to make a real elephant sound. He was so proud of himself, and Timmy and Sara were proud of him too.

Grandpa Uppet's elephant sound wasn't perfect, but it was close enough. And it was a lot of fun to hear him make it. #timmystory
