So I downloaded this test cube from Thingiverse thingiverse.com/thing:1278865
I sized it to exactly 50x50x50mm and printed it with the following parameters
Orange PLA
50 deg C bed on first layer, down to 40 after that
210 nozzle then down to 200
speed about 60mm/sec
The basic quality was very good but there is a very fine line just where the text starts and again where it ends, the cube is marginally smaller during the text print areas, less than 0.08mm but enough to see and catch with a finger nail
My thought is that when not printing the text, the printer has chance to get up to speed and perhaps overshoots slightly, when printing over the text areas it does not and therefor is marginally smaller.
The gap on the top between the fill and the perimeter is still a mystery, I tried increasing the overlap slightly but to no avail.
Any thoughts, tips etc would be appreciated
To clarify, the BED will not exceed 55 Deg C, it is not in a chamber and is using only the provided Tronxy X5S parts
I am using OctoPrint to run the job though and also to capture the images
