This song started out as a terrific little riff on my fake trombone, and it grew into this crazy mess with beatboxing, vocal bass, and whistling.
I've always enjoyed making strange musical noises, singing to imitate other musical instruments. I actually got this fake trombone thing from my Dad. From as far back as I remember, he would always sing like a trombone when he was doing things around the house. So, I've done it for years as well, and now it's really fun to use it in a multi-track recording like this.
Audio recorded and mixed using GarageBand on the Mac, using Samson Q1U microphone (and yes, a homemade pop screen -- LOL).
