Been looking unsuccessfully for an affordable solution so all my 3 cameras , tripod, monopod, overhead arm, and other mounts can have the same mounting, cheapest i could find was a mini tripod with quick release plate got just over £15, in July i asked Steve Lane to make me a length of track that i could cut to length to make my own adaptors, just by chance i checked Amazon again on 8 August, and found the exact item i was looking for at £4.59, only introduced on 7 August, how's that for luck!!

This is made of good quality aluminium, so is very rugged, unlike the plastic ones i could find for £20 minimum.
Also Manfrotto 200Pl compatible
