Today we are firing up Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 for a legendary run. We’re taking the heavy, complex, and beautiful TFDi Design MD-11 out of Dhaka (VGHS) and heading straight for one of the most dangerous and famous approaches in aviation history: Hong Kong's Kai Tak Airport (VHHX).
Will we butter the landing or end up in Victoria Harbour? Hang out in the chat, ask questions, and let's conquer the Checkerboard approach together!
It's also the VATSIM Hong Kong Overload Event - KAI TAK Edition and we're flying in to take part...
We'll be departing FinalApproachDesign's Dhaka International Airport for a 3hr flight over to Kai Tak, Hong Kong - fully serviced on VATSIM for a HUGE event at arrival. We'll need to ensure at a minimum we carry 1hr of additional fuel for holding or delay vectors!

WINWING are at it again with some more epic releases and today were reviewing the brand new 737 style PDC3M in the iFly 737 MAX 8 in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Well be flying through Storm Amy from Heathrow to Manchester on VATSIM and not only taking a look at the new PDC3M but chatting about the PDC3N (for the NG series 737s) and making full use of not only the new-ish PAP3M MCP panel but also their FMS replica, PFP3N!
*I do with they named stuff in a much better way!

Howdy! Today were back in the BIG TRI-JET BEAST that is the mighty MD-11! Its been a long time since I have last tried to fly this so Im super excited to jump back into the flight deck of this absolute workhorse of an aircraft.
Definitely rusty - and made a few errors especially on takeoff (TFDi Design Staff have been SUPER helpful in working out where I went wrong for next time so thank you to them!)
Well be exploring what this MASSIVE update has in store for you all, releasing on Monday 12th January 2026 with a NATIVE MSFS 2024 version, STUNNING cabin, and a from-the-ground-up rebuild of the model, textures AND MORE!
