Howdy! Today we're back in the BIG TRI-JET BEAST that is the mighty MD-11! It's been a long time since I have last tried to fly this so I'm super excited to jump back into the flight deck of this absolute workhorse of an aircraft.
Definitely rusty - and made a few errors especially on takeoff (TFDi Design Staff have been SUPER helpful in working out where I went wrong for next time so thank you to them!)
We'll be exploring what this MASSIVE update has in store for you all, releasing on Monday 12th January 2026 with a NATIVE MSFS 2024 version, STUNNING cabin, and a from-the-ground-up rebuild of the model, textures AND MORE!

In this video, I take a close look at the textures, terminal modelling, and the incredible surrounding terrain that makes this airport a must-have for scenery lovers. The VOR approach makes this challenging given its high altitude and nearly 4 degree approach glidepath for an airport often sat in fog/mist!
