Lewis George, Operational Readiness Manager, takes us behind the scenes for a look at one of the many real-life scenario exercises taking place during Trial Running to ensure we deliver a safe and reliable railway.

Once the Trial Operations phase commences, we will carry out more than 150 scenario exercises with staff and volunteers invited onto trains and stations to test evacuation procedures and staff familiarisation to ensure the readiness of the railway.
