AlboPepper - Drought Proof Urban Gardening | Trellising: Extending a Chain Link Fence for Your Garden @Albopepper | Uploaded June 2015 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
This year, I'm growing more vining vegetables. Using a trellised system allows you to go vertical and increase plant density. You can make use of existing structures, by growing things like peas or beans on a fence.
In this video, I show how I extended the reach of my chain link fence by adding a trellis along the top. I also show how pvc pipes can be used for attaching netting. This is what I'm doing for my spaghetti squash and watermelons. Can't wait to see how it goes!
