First Nephi chapter 2 begins an amazing vision followed by prophecy. Six hundred years before Christ, His coming is prophesied. The most amazing thing, is the pure love of Christ is shown to be the most important, amazing, needful thing for the heart of every man, woman, and child, to encounter. The word picture is beautiful in this scripture that lays out the plan for our life as well as showing us one common path that every person will go down. It is about choices and clinging to the precious word of God for our journey back to Him. One other amazing event that is shown in this chapter is the fruit of someone who encounters God's amazing love. They instantly want others to experience it. More is added to this vision as Lehi's son Nephi has an additional experience in the next chapter of the Book of Mormon.
