1 Nephi ch 3 continues. Nephi's vision of God's great love and condescension to man. The God of the universe and our creator took on flesh and blood and allowed us to kill him, hang him on a cross, so that He could bring us Home to Him. The tree in the vision is the great love of God and a fruit that is sweeter, whiter, and desirous above anything else. To taste that fruit is our great hope and commission. To have His love truly revealed to us through the Spirit will change us forever. This is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. A living breathing testimony of God's love for us.
