An investigation into the numbers of trees planted by the council in Thornbury during the winter tree planting season 2009/10. What should be straightforward is not - neither the number of trees nor the location. The new trees were announced as though additions, but they are replacements, and I have my doubts about the validity of the reasons given for felling earlier trees.
