For this event we were delighted to welcome director Kanerva Cederström (Travels with Tove), Nat Jansz (publisher of Tove Janssonâs novels and short stories in the UK) and Alison Williams (Curator at the William Morris Gallery) to discuss Tove Jansson and Tuulikki PietilĂ€âs filmmaking and how their lives entwine in art and love. We were also joined by actor and writer Ellie Kendrick, who read extracts from Tove Janssonâs fiction.
This event was held in partnership with queer feminist collective Club des Femmes with the acknowledgment of Jenna Masonâs curation of 'Tove Jansson: An Intimate Portrait' at Dulwich Picture Gallery on 26 January 2018.
