In Mid-October I traveled with my sister to Salem, Massachusetts to explore their haunted happenings festival. We have wanted to go for years and years and were so excited to finally make the time for it this year. Coincidentally, I also happened to be writing a story set right in the area. The timing could not have been more perfect!
There were a few bumps along the way and I mostly forgot to vlog the actual Haunted Happenings part of the trip (mainly because I was enjoying myself too much) but I did manage to hit 50 thousand words in This Book is for October! AND I visited an actual location in the story! My main takeaway from the visit to Massachusetts is that I can't wait to plan another one!
