Traveling from one city to another in Japan sounds simple until you actually do it. One train becomes another train, then another station, then somehow you’re walking through an entirely different part of the country. At some point, it genuinely starts feeling like you’re on your own Mario Odyssey.

This is just one of the many chaotic and unforgettable moments from my trip to Japan, where I visited Nintendo Stores, Super Nintendo World, the Nintendo Museum, the Kirby Café, Pokémon Centers, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and a whole lot more.
