High Point State Park in NJ features a monument, swimming lake, boating, camping and connections to the Appalachian Trail. This photo is campsite 7 on Sawmill Lake, July 6, 2011. Two tents are at campsite 8. See 2012 hike on the Appalachian Trail on the ridge overlooking this site.
The forest is thick, old, and tall. It has oak, maple, and hickory trees. In September, 2011, I submitted this all around movie to the The World Wide Panorama event: the International Year of Forests.
