Everyone loves Optimus Prime - and he’s up there for me too - but Skywarp has always had a special place in my heart.
Maybe it’s the sleek jet mode, maybe it’s the teleporting ability in the cartoon, or maybe it’s just those colors that pop. All I know is, as a kid, I really wanted this toy. But back then it was rare, expensive, and just out of reach.
Now thanks to this reissue, childhood me can finally rest. The design is old school, limited articulation, tons of parts-forming, but I couldn’t care less. It’s got die-cast, that signature G1 charm, and it looks awesome on display.
If you’re a G1 collector, this one’s non-negotiable. A must.
