Studio Series 86 Devastator isn’t perfect… but man, does it land where it counts. He’s got real presence, surprisingly good articulation for something this bulky, and just feels satisfying to mess around with. You can shake the thing and nothing falls apart. That build quality alone is already a huge win.
I do wish the legs were a bit longer; right now he’s definitely on the stumpy side, so I’m keeping my eye out for a clean upgrade kit. Still, for a Hasbro mainline combiner, this is probably the most solid we’ve ever gotten. No over-complication, no spaghetti limbs, just a straightforward, playable giant.
Really happy this team is now complete. Hasbro nailed the spirit of the thing.
